Manchester United are the new Champions League winners.
Man Utd defeated Chelsea in a football fixture which had epic highlights! The match was 1-1 by the end of the first half and stayed that way until full time. The Champions League final then went into extra time where no team managed to score any goals, and the match was forced in a penalty shoot out between Man Utd and Chelsea.
Dramatically Drogba receieved a red card with 3 minutes remaining in the extra time. The match finally went to penalties where Ronaldo missed a penalty and it seemed as if Chelsea would be the new champions! The captain of Chelsea, Terry took what would be the last penalty of the match and missed. Eventually Anelka went on to miss a penalty in the shoot out sudden death stage and so Manchester United are the European Champions - get ready for the Euro 2008 which starts in just two weeks time!
